FEOD is a unique company built on the legacy knowledge and expertise of accomplished executives. All members of the team have “big company” experience but have found their niche in “track-record” leadership roles in small and mid-market companies. FEOD Executive Partners have already managed company “growing pains” and have practical experience managing departments, projects and people.
FEOD executives have many years of practical business experience. They are independent executives who move vertically through problem solving – they can discuss strategy at 9:00 AM and finish spreadsheet analyses by 3:00 PM. They can easily shift topical altitudes and add value at any tier from top to bottom. They are “hands on” “rolled-up-sleeves” executives. They checked their egos a long time ago.
FEOD Executive Partners know what it takes to build a business. They bring to a client’s business, in an advisory role (as a consultant or fractional executive), the same entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit that fuels the founder or owner of that company. FEOD Executive Partners respect the struggle and honor the courage of entrepreneurial ownership.
FEOD client companies are seeking next level management to guide momentum, innovation and growth. These small and mid-market companies (including divisions of larger companies) may not have the resources to field a stronger team full-time or they may have business issues that are outpacing the aptitudes of internal management. FEOD clients are businesses in which the founder, owner, family or management leadership recognize their vision needs stronger interim management to grow.
FEOD Executive Partners can participate with a company as a consultant or “fractional” executive.
Generally, as a consultant, FEOD Executive Partners are hired to work on a specific assignment designated by ownership and/or management. As a fractional executive an FEOD Executive Partner is hired by the company to manage one of the company’s functions on a schedule and according to the parameters set by ownership and/or management.
Broadly speaking company functions that can be managed include, but are not limited to: Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Information Technology.
